This initiative marks a significant step forward in promoting Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education among students in the region. The event was graced by esteemed delegates including Ms. S.K. Verma, Project Director of Mahi Banswara Atomic Power Project, Mr. Dhawal Pandey, Ms. Vinita Patel, the School Principal, and Mr. Harish Gupta, the School Vice Principal. . Dear Connections, The Finale of India's Third National #STEM Challenge for Government and Government-Aided Schools The third edition of India's only national-level STEM challenge for students from government and government-aided schools is coming to a close! This program was designed to engage children from both urban and rural areas and foster their curiosity, innovation, and design thinking skills. It aims to foster their curiosity, innovation, and design thinking skills. Over the past year, more than 2,000 children from more than 200 government schools in 20 states of India have participated in this program. They have competed in over 70 cluster, zonal, and state rounds, and the final round will be held in Pune on September 9 The top 50 teams/100+ students will be participating in finale The finale will be a great opportunity for students to showcase their STEM skills, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork skills. Secondary School, Dhokavada, Gujarat under our community engagement (CSR) program “Gyandeep” to our young local stakeholders. Dhokavada school is located ~40 km from the India-Pakistan border and is the last school in that area. The opening ceremony was organized by the school administration as a token of appreciation and was attended by #Gujarat Government officials and team members from Susten ( Ankit Jain , Ssiddharth Rana) & Ennoble Social Innovation (Chirag Bhandari) NGO implementing agency. It was recently featured on a local news channel in Gujarat. Why this initiative matters: Access to Quality Education: According to UNESCO, every additional year of schooling can increase a person's income by up to 10%. Our STEM lab aims to provide students with the skills needed for the 21st century. Bridging the Gap: Rural schools often lack the resources found in urban areas. By equipping this school with state-of-the-art technology, we aim to level the playing field for these students. Community Impact: Studies show that improved school infrastructure can increase student attendance by up to 20% and enhance academic performance. About the STEM Lab: This cutting-edge facility is equipped with · Interactive Screens · Computers and Mechanical Tools · Telescopes and 3D Printers · Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning Kits · Students from class 3 to 12 can engage in over 600 different activities, fostering a hands-on learning environment.
