For anyone who hasn’t been to a #Sterling BIG Breakfast or BIG Brunch, you’re probably wondering just WHY so many people love it….so I thought I’d explain, having attended my first one in Worcester in the spring…. Firstly, the only differences between the BIG breakfast and the BIG brunch are the times they are held and the anticipated number of participants (breakfast 6.45am with 100+ people whereas brunch is at 10.15am with 50+) Other than that, the format is the same. Food, chatter, hearing from the sponsors and of course, the reason we all network (other than the occasional poached egg, mmmm) – time to make some connections with facilitated networking. During the two hours of breakfast/brunch, not only do you get to network with your original table (led by a table captain who makes sure everyone gets their chance to speak), everyone will move table – at least a few times – meaning you get to network with a WHOLE NEW selection of businesses. As well as the general “meandering about/free style” networking at the expo itself, the BIG breakfast and brunch give you the opportunity to be guided by the Sterling team – and before you know it, at LEAST 29 other people in the room know you, your business, what you do and how they can help you… The BIG breakfast and BIG brunch are filling up fast at Sterling’s Birmingham event on 26th October at Edgbaston Stadium – the last time I checked with Jenni and Rosemary at HQ, there were 80+ bookings and I know there will have been more since. For just £19.99 plus VAT it’s amazing value for what is an exceptional networking opportunity. If you haven’t been before, give it a try – I can guarantee you won’t prove me wrong.
