When is a "fire watch" required? When a required fire alarm system is “out of service” for more than 4 hours in a 24 hour period. In this scenario according to NFPA 101 Life Safety Code; 1) the AHJ must be notified 2) AND the building either evacuated OR a fire watch provided. #asc #lifesafety #healthcare

Dry and wet risers are fairly similar. The primary distinction between the two is that a wet riser is always filled with water, giving emergency responders like fire departments quick access to a water supply. Therefore, it is crucial to keep these systems updated and well-maintained. Tired of checklists that just check boxes? ✅ What if they could SAVE LIVES? 🚨 A hospital in Delhi was using a traditional pass/fail fire safety checklist. It looked good on paper, but they couldn't gauge the TRUE level of preparedness. Then they discovered Proptor's scored checklists. By assigning points to each checkpoint (e.g., "Fire extinguisher pressure: 5 points for full, 0 for empty"), they uncovered critical gaps: - 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗻 𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲, revealing a training issue. - 𝗘𝘃𝗮𝗰𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗿𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝘀𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝘃𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗹𝘆, indicating inconsistent placement. - 𝗘𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗼𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗲𝗱, a potential hazard in a power outage. Proptor's scored checklists transform your fire safety inspections from a formality into a life-saving tool. Now you can: - 𝗜𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗳𝘆 𝗪𝗲𝗮𝗸 𝗣𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘀: Pinpoint areas with consistently low scores, allowing for targeted interventions. - 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘇𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲𝘀: Focus your efforts where they'll have the most impact. - 𝗘𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲: Demonstrate a proactive approach to safety, exceeding regulatory requirements. - 𝗨𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆, 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀: Create a safer environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Don't just check boxes, save lives. Book a free Proptor demo today and elevate your fire safety program to the next level. #Proptor #FacilityManagement #FireSafety #Healthcare #RiskManagement #DataDriven
