🚀 Exciting News: Tagion Mainnet is Live! It's been quite a while since my last update, but I'm thrilled to break the silence with some exciting news – the Tagion Mainnet is now live, marking a huge milestone. Here's a snapshot of some of the achievements we've unlocked together (nerd alert🤓): Implemented CI/CD: Shortened our development cycles and elevated code quality to new heights. Testing framework: Developed our own testing framework, enabling BDD-testing. DART Database: Refined our own database technology: DART which is the powerhouse that drives Tagion. HashGraph: Major updates and optimizations, with a special shout-out to my good friend Benjamin Hilton who came all the way from Cambridge University to work with us over the summer! Actor Multithreading Framework: Created our own framework ontop of Dlang concurrency to power Tagion. NNG Implementation: Implemented NNG which is a fast lightweight messaging library. And much much more. On a personal note, this journey has been nothing short of transformative. Over the past year, I've had the honor of taking on the role of Core Team Lead, a position that has pushed me to evolve both personally and professionally. Building production and distributed code that must have 100% stability is a whole new ball game, and the experience has been both challenging and incredibly rewarding. I'm immensely proud of what we have accomplished, and I'm excited to see the impact Tagion will make in 2024. Here's to the next chapter of Tagion and the limitless possibilities that lie ahead! https://www.tagion.org P.S - All code will be open-sourced tomorrow as well go check it out here. https://github.com/tagion

How to break into web3 as a DevRel? — I often get this question from developers who are interested in breaking into DevRel specially in the web3 space. If you are one of them, read on.. First, what is the job of a DevRel? DevRel jobs come in many flavors based on the unique needs of an organization. An organization like Metaschool needs a DevRel to educate, support and find opportunities for Devs in web3, whereas Google might need a DevRel to evangelize their new tech offerings in AI. Again, many flavors and based on your skills optimization you can pick your own flavor :) Now let’s dig into what makes a DevRel. A DevRel is a unicorn. Many claim to be one but only a handful really are! A common misconception is that a DevRel is a community builder and events organizer. No! A DevRel is basically a developer but on steroids! They are: — a great communicator, can break down complex concepts into simple words — a super connecter, like to bring people together and help them win — a relentless giver, want to give, support and uplift and find joy in that — an independent problem solver, can debug, test and solve issues on their own So when I say that a DevRel is a unicorn I really mean it. It is hard to find someone who is an excellent developer and is great at all of the above aspects. I have personally come across 1 or 2 DevRel unicorns in the web3 space. Yes. It. Is. Hard. I absolutely love @dabit3 & @thatguyintech. As a starter, you can invest in optimizing one or two key traits to improve your skills; I’d personally recommend going for 3Cs; code, communication and community. For code, — understand the technology — contribute to the codebase - open source contributions are magic! — build something constantly For communication, — read and write technical documentation — write your opinion in simple words — explain concepts and start teaching your peers — go and participate in stackoverflow For community, — start a small indie community around your area of expertise — become a support system for your community — conduct workshops, organize events — grow the community from 0 to 1 — engage with likeminded people on X If you do all of this consistently with ambitious milestones and sharp focus, you will eventually become a DevRel — a good one! wagmi

You get stuck while debugging your code, what do you do? I'm sure you don't start watching a 40 min video to get a solution because that's not how you save time. You search for articles and blogs on Medium, Hashnode, and answers on StackOverflow or maybe a 20-year-old random website. To make things easier for you and other devs, DevHub is releasing its own community blog on Hashnode🥰 Follow our page here: https://lnkd.in/dvESgcNi Read the latest article on React written by Sidramaraddy 🚀 here: https://lnkd.in/d_t_Twtk If you're interested to write valuable tech articles, please join the DevHub community blog as a contributor: https://lnkd.in/dY2URhP3 #devhub #development #developer #webdevelopment #javascript #tech #blog #article #techcommunity #techblog #hashnode #medium
