I was beyond excited when Pedro Antonio Guerrero and the team approached me earlier in the year to ask if I'd contribute to a #podcast episode for #TheLatinoMajority presented by Hispanic Executive! I am incredibly grateful to Pedro and the team for highlighting my journey and for the team at Nielsen for supporting the impactful storytelling and insights. Being featured alongside such inspiring giants this season is an honor beyond anything I could have imagined. I want to extend my deepest thanks to my Business Inclusion team at #Nielsen for always supporting the #data gathering and #insights development as well as offering the platform to share the insights, and the unwavering support from the folks who help develop and socialize these important stories: Charlene Polite Corley, Patricia Ratulangi, Bashel Lewis, #JayMaldonado, Drew English and more . It's a privilege to work with the smartest in the biz who champion this vital work to amplify the Latino narrative. Thank you Andy Checo and d exposito & Partners for your support and believing in the power of diverse stories. #LatinoMajority #HispanicExecutive #Nielsen #LatinoLeadership #DiversityInMedia

Enjoyed listening to this podcast, I loved your insights on bringing data to theory on understanding Latinos consumers + personal identity being salient / banding together. Two points that resonate with me were: 1 - being latino enough: I experienced this as well when I tried to focus on my academics & learning English (Spanish being my first language) 2 - mentorship with Latinos are friendship = sponsorship: similarly, the best types of mentors & eventually sponsors have been individuals who start are friends & develop over time. Having trust people makes a difference in your personal, career, and educational journey I agree—we Latinos need to continue building strong mentorshis that are authentic/ personal to support each other advice in society 🙌🏽🌟 Who you are is important to build trust and bring others with us as we move up
