The Eyesi Simulator offers two major setups: the Anterior Segment Setup, focusing on surgeries and procedures concerning the cornea, iris, and lens, such as cataract surgery and glaucoma procedures, and the Vitreo-Retinal Setup, tailored for simulations related to the vitreous and retina, including vitrectomy and retinal detachment repair. Each setup provides specialized instruments and modules designed to simulate specific ophthalmic surgeries, offering a realistic training environment for ophthalmic surgeons to practice and refine their skills in managing both anterior and posterior segment conditions of the eye. ACMIT and its spin-off partner in DER STANDARD The success story of RALV optical system, developed by ACMIT and DEZIMAL GmbH is published in the renowned Austrian daily journal DER STANDARD. With increasing age, the eye loses the ability to adapt to different distances of vision. This presbyopia is mainly caused by a hardening of the natural lens of the eye. The replacement of the natural lens of the eye with an artificial lens can provide relief. It is important to find the best lens model for each patient before surgery. RALV allows presbyopic patients to experience preoperative vision through true intraocular lenses (IOL) to experience postoperative vision with an IOL before the implantation. ACMIT developed the RALV optical system in collaboration with 1stQ Deutschland GmbH, an internationally renowned manufacturer of intraocular lenses. 15th Warsaw European Cranio-Maxillofacial Course. Warsaw Trauma Course. This course is provided by the Department of Cranio-Maxilo-Facial Surgery of Medical University of Warsaw in collaboration with the European Association for Cranio Maxillo Facial Surgery. The aim of the course is: ➖To consolidate the knowledge of classifications and most useful approaches. ➖Increase the spectrum of skills dealing with standard surgeries. ➖Learning tips and tricks in applying techniques and conducting operations. Hands-on workshop on prefractured cadaveric specimens including midface fractures and fractures of the mandible. Participants will work in teams. Preoperative planning will be based on radiologic findings (CT-Scans), followed by case discussion and surgical treatment. Each group will have a supervisor. After surgery CT scan will be performed. During online meeting one week after course results will be discussed.
