Wines In Blue Bottles (Our 10 Top Picks) - Here are 10 of the most popular wines that come in blue bottles: Blue Nun is a German wine brand that was launched in 1923 by the company H. Sichel Söhne. Check out my blog post on Bubbly Essentials! People always ask me about sparkling wines. Sparkling wines contain carbonation that occurs either naturally, as part of the wine making process, or is artificially introduced. Sparkling wines are usually light in color, but may also be rosé or even red. Champagne is a sparkling wine, but only wines made in the Champagne District in France are properly entitled to be called Champagne. Every other wine with bubbles is sparkling wine.

Do you know what DOC means in @proseccodoc? 🍾 In order for your favourite sparkling wine to be labelled as Prosecco DOC it must be produced in the #ProseccoDreamland regions. That is in the 5 provinces in Veneto and the 4 provinces in Friuli Venezia Giulia, in the north-east of Italy. So, DOC means Controlled Designation of Origin and it is our way to ensure our wines are all produced in the designated territory and adheres to specific rules to certify the Prosecco’s origin and quality. #ProseccoDOC #ItalianGenio #DidYouKnow
