We recently installed a cutting-edge paint booth for a sanitation company in Omaha, NE. They decided to invest in a new paint booth as part of their relocation to a new facility. This state-of-the-art booth, measuring 20'W x 16'H x 44'L, utilizes cross-draft style airflow and is pressurized with an Air Makeup Unit. It also features a bake cycle for rapid drying of painted parts and is fitted with motorized fabric roll-up doors on both ends, allowing seamless flow of products through the booth and out of the building doors. Their primary use for this booth is painting refurbished trash dumpsters, with the capability to repaint entire garbage trucks occasionally.

Regularly test the airflow and pressure in your paint booth to ensure smooth operation and prevent defects in coating appearance ➜ All spray booths should be equipped with a manometer or similar device to measure the pressure differential across the filter media. The manometer will indicate when the filters are becoming loaded and need replacement. You can also use a velometer for booth testing. It takes a direct measure of the speed of the airflow, which is important for safety reasons and to ensure you reduce the possibilities for overspray.
