The NBA new broadcast deal is nearing conclusion with Amazon prime all but set to get the streaming rights. Amongst all deals, the number of games packaged will dip a little, but that hasn’t stopped the financial terms from going up. More and more streaming providers entering the sports streaming rights globally, as sport continues to be an essential viewership and subscriber attraction component for OTT providers. In general, the biggest media packages in sport have also most recently included the Apple TV new FIFA club World Cup rights, and traditionally, The Premier League, F1, Olympics, FIFA World Cup, NFL, Tour de France, Cricket, MLB, etc.. The question still remains on the future rights and if OTT will completely overtake traditional sports TV broadcasting over the next 10 years, and if new emerging sports can get to this level too. #sports #media #streamingmedia https://shorturl.at/bhwH3
