Retailers are maturing in AI adoption Angel Maldonado, CEO & Co-Founder: “It was amazing to see that most retailers are maturing in terms of AI adoption. We were expecting a lot more #AIWashing, however most retailers are clearly very articulated and experienced with AI already and are aware of its impact and implications.” 2. There is a shift from a product-finding basket-building experience towards a mission-based shopping experience Borja Santaolalla, CXO & Co-Founder: “Retailers are aware of the change in consumer behaviour towards a mission-based shopping experience which highlights a rising prominence of search recommendations. In simple terms this means that if a person is shopping for an avocado, they might want to know how to make guacamole.” 3. Catalogue enrichment is key Tania Asa, Growth Director: “It is clear that there are still so many inefficiencies and misalignments in catalogues and based on several conversations this is a common painpoint across all verticals.
