Ever seen Klookers in hazmat suits? Well, now you have! 👀 Just last week, part of our EMEA & US Business Development team based in Malaysia formed two groups for a thrilling escape-room-like experience at Bomb Battle! The group of 19 dove into four rounds of intense games – Power Grid, Laser Maze, Melody Hack, and Decrypt It. 💥 To conquer the battle within 75 minutes, they dodged lasers, cracked memory codes, and more, all to secure extra time for the grand finale: a bomb-defusing challenge! Amidst all the fun, there was one humbling twist – both groups stumbled at the melody round, where unraveling the tune proved a bit trickier than expected! "It's fascinating to see our 'help each other' spirit come to life even outside of work! Our cooperation came naturally as we used our brains and limbs to unlock each mission. So grateful for this teambuilding experience as I've become closer with coworkers I hadn't previously worked with," said Noor Azira Adilla Syahrir, a new member of the team. Another Klooker Min Jou Yap put it well, "This experience was more than just a teambuilding activity; it was a reminder that we can tackle any challenge that comes our way as long as we put our hearts and minds into it as a team." 🙌 Has their team spirit inspired you to check us out? Or do you aspire to join them? Browse our openings in the Business Development team in #Malaysia here: https://bit.ly/47tvDZC #YourWorldofJoy #LifeAtKlook #Experiences
Mission accomplished: Klookers had a fun Bomb Battle! 💣

The importance of achieving a balance between life and work cannot be overstated. While it's essential to recognise that there shouldn't be a strict divide between the two, fostering a healthy harmony between work and personal life is crucial for both employees and employers alike. I consider myself fortunate to have worked for a couple of companies over the past 8 years that prioritise the well-being of their employees. I'm thrilled to share my recent success at the International Practical Shooting Confederation Northern Territory State Handgun Championship. Despite encountering equipment challenges, I managed to secure the top overall win in the Production Optics Division. This achievement wouldn't have been possible without the support of my current and previous employers, who understand the significance of maintaining a balance between work and life. For me, achieving harmony between life and work isn't just a luxury—it's a necessity. It's a priority that enhances not only my performance in the workplace but also my overall well-being and fulfillment in life.

On Monday evening I held my Summer Reset workshop with a wonderful group of people. We reflected on how the first 6 months of the year had been, before diving deeper to explore the highlights and challenging times. In the second part we looked ahead at what we wanted to get out of the summer and each created a bucket list that is going to help us to be purposeful with our time and energy. We also looked ahead at where we wanted to be by the end of the year, and started thinking about what small steps we can take now to help us get there. So it’s fair to say that over the hour we covered a lot! I always find these reflective workshops so inspiring, hearing the takeaways that people have had. This time the standout ones for me were: 👉 People coming into the workshop feeling like they’d not really done much over the last 3-6 months, but after taking the time to reflect on it they’ve realised that actually the opposite is true - they’ve been able to squeeze absolutely loads in, whilst handling some quite challenging situations 👉 People feeling proud of themselves for all they have achieved and taking the time to give themselves the recognition for that 👉 People having the opportunity to tune into what they are really craving, away from the noise of expectations and the chaos of everyday life, and setting intentions that support them getting that It really is so incredibly valuable to take the time to reflect on our experiences, and just to appreciate how far we have come. But also to look ahead and to be intentional with our time so that we can get to where we want to be - these things rarely happen by accident! I’m already excited to check in again with everyone at the end of the summer in the Autumn Reset (look out for when tickets are available for that soon). If you would like the recording of the Summer Reset workshop, then please send me a DM and I’d be more than happy to share it with you.

Importance Of SIT Before Job. We were Doing an SIT 3(1/2)" Dual pack off ID to an ID 3(1/2)" Xover. Wow it fits in But we Observed The Xover was not Taking Thread. What must be the Problem then,we Quickly Checked the Thread Start and Observe Our Dual Packoff thread is A Double Start While Client Xover was a Single Start.. Little things can Mess Everything up If this was sent to Job it would have been a Big Lost time. it is very Important to Check your Tool/Equipments before sending them to Job.

NAA week is here - don’t forget to pack these conference essentials for your trip to Philadelphia. 1. A power bank phone charger. These have become an essential part of daily life for me. They’re even more essential for long days traveling or on conference floors. I usually travel with 2 of them. 2. Business cards. Lots of them. It’s all too easy to forget to bring them. 3. Comfortable professional shoes. You will likely be standing and walking a lot. Sure, you want to dress to impress but if choosing between two pairs of professional shoes, go with the more comfortable option. Last, keep in mind the hot and humid weather in Philly this week. It will reach the mid-90s Fareinheit most days, and lows will be in the 70s. Keep this in mind when packing casual wear and exercise gear. Safe travels everyone!
