I had the amazing opportunity to be part of a panel of City Clerks at the League of Minnesota Cities annual conference! The engagement from the crowd was wonderful, and I hope everyone left feeling more comfortable reaching out to their colleagues for help. This week at the 31st annual Learner Conference in Utrecht, Netherlands, I had the privilege of presenting my initial doctoral research on the impact of Sourcewell Career Pathways program on rural high schools using the AASA, The School Superintendents Association Redefining Ready indicators for design and implementation of their high school career pathways. My initial mixed-methods findings show positive impact on multiple levels! Specifically within three interdependent contexts: ideological, organizational, and operational. Additionally, participants identified contributing factors to effective implementation as mostly organizational and operational while indentifying constraints are ideological and external in nature. I am excited to finalize my research and submit my dissertation this fall to University of St. Thomas for my Ed.D. What an amazing experience to kick off the 2024.2025 school year!
