Senior Account Executive - Coast to Coast in the US for Executive Search, Technical & Engineering, Construction, Finance & Accounting roles, plus nearshoring solutions * (801)-995-8289 jlarsen@teknesearch.com
Hey everyone, Tip of the day to get a new role. Have a resume of 1-2 pages, and lay out the most important details top left to the less important bottom right. Remember we read top to bottom and left to right. Your last or current role is the most interesting and necessary in an interviewer making a decision to pass or interview you. Offer the most detail of your day-to-day in this position. Be careful with summaries, most all say the same thing: I am smart and hard-working. Instead try sharing the why/reasons you are a match for the role you are applying. To those hiring in Tech, Engineering, Construction, and Finance/Accounting contact me to compare the passive talent we can provide versus active talent. If you are using near/offshoring - contact me. We have excellent options and service from our LATAM office. Bonus tip: You will find me on the lake this weekend! Caio,

Is the demand for IT Professionals softening, and do professionals seeking employment properly read job adverts they apply for? This post probably applies to most professions, not just IT, but that's my gripe atm. First and foremost, I don't like advertising jobs, but when I do to back up my proactive searching, I get way too many wrong match applicants, and see too many posts from job seekers on LinkedIn complaining about no feedback from the jobs they apply for, but conversely how many job seekers take time to read a job advert, research the employer, and apply based on being a good fit? I'm hiring for a global SME who are a European entity seeking a candidate that can grow from network system administrator to IT asset manager. Not an IT Director or IT Manager of people from a global corporate. Please get real and apply for jobs that match your experience. #itcareers
