Anyone that's worked with me over the years knows that I've always got 1000 things cooking, yet rarely manage to actually publish a side project. After taking this guy on and off the shelf for a few years, I finally shipped an app last month for myself. Being CTO of an early startup consumes 90% of my available time for work, but I managed to consistently spend 1 hour per day working on this project for about 6 weeks and voila, I finished something! Introducing Goated! An app for all aspiring G.O.A.Ts to track their journey to 10,000 hours of deliberate practice. Anyone can master anything, it just takes consistent effort. Well, in this case, it's our colleague Alexandra Atsüren-Kounanos, who turned into the fierce Amazon in just a few seconds, with the help of a free #deepfake creation app. All we had to do was pick some sequences from the WW-movie and provide the app with a single image of our colleague. Et voilà - we have a new face for the superheroin. While it's all fun and games here, the dangers of conveniently creating deepfakes are prominent. However, 34% of people in Germany are still not familiar with the term "deepfake." Another 34% have heard of it but don't know what it means, and only 22% feel they can explain it. Learning to use AI tools like DALL·E and ChatGPT has been a game-changer. They’ve helped me turn ideas into reality, from designing stickers to automating processes across the business. AI has become an invaluable part of how I run Ryu App, allowing me to be efficient and innovative despite a tight budget. For our models to better understand #impact, we discovered that we needed to map companies, products and relationships in a completely different way from anything currently available. To future-proof our technology, we also needed a brand-new, dynamic structure that can adapt to a constantly changing economic reality. Big questions were challenging our team: we couldn’t determine a product's impact without knowing its deeper contextual relationships. What components have gone into it? What can it be used for? 90% of us will fail to pull this off at 81, but can you ? The story starts with the woman in the picture named Masako Wakamiya. After working for 40 straight years on a Bank she finally retires to live her last days with peace. After retiring the first thing she did is buy a laptop so that she can connect with the fast paced generation. Little did she knew that till the age of 58 she never touched a computer so she needs to learn how to use it. Soon enough she got bored of using a laptop because nothing excites her at this age so out of boredom she started finding games that she could enjoy. Many of our parents are huge fan of Candy crush saga, my father has even completed level 300! So similarly after searching a lot she could not find a single game that she likes or people of her age might like. She immediately got a brilliant idea, she would ask developers to make game for her and for people of her age. After talking with a bunch of developers, everyone turned her down because they did want to do it or did not had the idea of what are the things people of her age would like in game and informed her that if possible she could give it try. No no, she did exactly what they said. She started learning how to code at the age of 81 from scratch. Can you imagine ? Even though she never used a computer but she had a knack for technology within her from starting. So after learning how to code she actually build a mobile game. I don't know what got her to do this! She decided to name her game "Hinadan" as it is based on a 1000 year old japanese tradition that people of her age was well aware and would be eager to test it. Finally she launched the game and has been downloaded by ,1,00,000  people with a rating of 4.9. You must thinking now, what a inspiring story, right ? But there is more than just building an app. She build couple of more things : 📌A second game of "Herbs" 📌A workshop named "Excel and Art" She did not stop at learning for herself. She runs online and offline workshops where she teaches people of her age how to use technology and get closer to this fast paced generation.  📌She is a Digital Creator 📌She is a Technology Evangelist 📌She is now the oldest Game Developer in the world What is that one thing you are feeling after reading this ?
