Today marks the one-year anniversary of the murder of Bangladesh union leader Shahidul Islam. We demand that the police investigation of his case be reopened to ensure that the main perpetrators of the crime are held accountable and that the persistent harassment and unfair labor practices committed against worker leaders in the country end. If a candidate has been elected for Lok Sabha while being in jail and is allegedly associated with terrorist activities, it raises serious concerns about the electoral process and the integrity of the democratic system. Elected representatives are expected to uphold the law and work for the betterment of society, not engage in illegal or violent activities. If there are credible allegations against that candidate regarding terrorism or any other criminal activities, it's essential that the legal system investigates these allegations thoroughly and takes appropriate action in accordance with the law. The safety and security of citizens should always be a top priority, and individuals with ties to terrorism or violence must be held accountable for their actions. In situations like these, it's crucial for the government and law enforcement agencies to ensure that the democratic process is not compromised and that the rule of law is upheld. Upholding the principles of democracy, justice, and security is essential for maintaining peace and stability in society. #ElectionIntegrity #RuleOfLaw #DemocraticValues #SecurityConcerns #TerrorismThreat #ElectoralReform #AccountabilityMatters #LawAndOrder #NationalSecurity #JusticeSystem #PoliticalEthics #ConstitutionalDuty #PublicSafety #DemocraticProcess #TransparencyMatters #CitizenSafety #ElectoralIntegrity #DemocracyAtRisk #GovernmentResponsibility #PeaceAndStability

The pier shown in the video, starts from an UNRWA building in Gaza and leads to the tunnel where the bodies of 4 Israeli Hostages were found this past week. Seriously, what organization would knowingly allow this illegal, abhorrent use of its funded facilities? And if UNRWA leadership didn't know, what kind of management is that? And then you recall UNRWA funded educational books that teach kindergarten and primary kids deep hatred towards Jews and Israel... Did UNRWA leadership not know about that too? Do you believe this is coincidence? or maybe UNRWA is abusing your well-intended dollars, pounds and euros? oh, btw, did you know that the United Nations has one refugee organization for all the world , the UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency , and one just for the palestinians? Ask yourself: Why are both organizations needed? What is needed, is your prayers There are still 128 Israeli hostages kidnapped by Hamas terrorists and being held in Gaza over 200 days in captivity. Please pray for their safe return.

The hostage bodies that were rescued last week were found in a tunnel whose entrance was in an #unrwa building. The IDF released videos and images showing the entrance to the hamas tunnel where the bodies of four hostage, Ron Benjamin, Amit Buskila, Itzhak Gelerenter, and Shani Louk, were found last Friday. The International Criminal Court should be issuing arrest warrants for the leadership of UNRWA for aiding and abetting Hamas terror operations and helping Hamas break the rules of war. #leadership #culture #future #education

The Forced Disappearance of Ahmed Farhad As a society, we expect our state to protect and serve its citizens, not violate their fundamental rights. The forced disappearance of poet Ahmed Farhad by state agencies is a stark reminder of the abuse of power and the erosion of trust in our institutions. After being located in custody, questions arise: How was he taken by Kashmir Police without due process? Why did Islamabad Police fail to inform the court about legal formalities, as required by law? How can a state justify such illegal actions? Forced disappearances are a grave human rights violation, and it's the basic duty of the state to ensure the safety and security of its citizens, not to perpetuate violence and fear. We demand accountability from our institutions and justice for Ahmed Farhad and all victims of forced disappearances. The court must hold all those involved accountable for their actions. Let's stand together against state-sponsored violence and demand a safe and just society for all. #JusticeForAhmedFarhad #ForcedDisappearances #StateAccountability #HumanRights #Justice"

Democratic Republic of Congo’s incumbent president, Felix Tshisekedi, recently reinstated the death penalty twenty after its abolishment. The last time that legal punishment was used in the country was in 2003. In March 2024, the Congolese government lifted the moratorium on executions to combat militant violence. However, prisoners facing execution will instead have their sentences commuted to life imprisonment. The government says the purpose of reinstating the death penalty was to deter violence and militant attacks, particularly in the eastern provinces. The death penalty applies to crimes like treason, espionage, involvement with armed gangs, and desertion by military personnel. Rights groups have condemned the decision, calling it a step back for the country. Citizen’s movement Lucha said that lifting the moratorium is unconstitutional and opens the door to summary executions. One thing we can be sure of is that now that it has been reinstated, citizens will adjust their behavior accordingly.
