🏅 A Gold medal has been awarded in the #SND44 Digital Competition category of investigative design to The New York Times for "The Rise of the Worker Productivity Score." (https://lnkd.in/eJNVtN6z) Judges said: "They’ve done some phenomenal technical stuff that fits with the story just perfectly. It’s surprising and it makes a really technically complicated story easy to read. ... The pacing is really good, the interactive component is super impressive, the copy is clever and captures the whimsy of it, and from a storyboarding perspective, they thought through it really well. I can’t really ask for more." #SNDdigital44 #GoldMedal #SND #societyfornewsdesign #newsdesign #design #newsdesigners #digitaldesign #digitaldesigners #designcompetition

🥈 @elmundo_es #SND45 Print silver medal in Magazine Design Gema Brasero, Designer; @nunhapedra, Art Director; @maria_gonzalz, Design Director Judges said that because of their subject matter, business magazines have a high degree of difficulty, but this one manages it successfully. It marries the traditional elements of the business publication (like pictures of CEOs with their arms crossed) and fuses them with modern magazine design techniques for a fresh, clean and sophisticated result that shows a clear identity. Photos, infographics and illustrations are married in a cohesive manner and great care is given to the format. It’s super tight; there’s nothing sloppy. @arte_elmundo
