Unofficial depth chart takeaways: First-round QBs trend towards starting Week 1, Bijan Robinson listed as RB3 Like the yellow line you see across your screen on Sundays that signifies the first-down marker, depth charts around this time of year are unofficial. Still, that doesn’t mean we can’t glean some significance out of them. At the very least, it’s fascinating to see where teams decide to stack players as we creep closer ... -a title="" class="read-more" href="" aria-label="More on "-Read more-/a- https://lnkd.in/gg--f_Cm

Leadership Coach, Mentor, Advisor, Consultant for High Performing athletes, coaches, executives, CEO's and organizations
People often wonder what makes a great coach? Well I do feel it certainly has to do with X’s and O’s or specific sport knowledge. However when I get asked that question ….. I always say the X’s and O’s are a small fraction of the equation. What I mean by that is if you were to delve deeper into the great coaches, I mean the truly great ones, the ones who are impactful…. and not just on the field of play… they are the ones who make others around them better, in all aspects of their lives. They just don’t coach , they LEAD. In essence they go Beyond the X’s and O’s. It is there that I have found where great coaches lie. See the truly great ones see their coaching in a much more deeper and meaningful way. They feel that they have a responsibility BEYOND THE X’s and O’s. What I find really fascinating is that I have a hard time understanding why more coaches do not focus on that aspect of their development. They do not invest in their own personal leadership capabilities. If they did, they may not end of in a Hall of Fame like Coach Pop or Becky Hammon but I can almost guarantee at the very least, they would impact so many people in a much more positive way, and maybe win a few championships along the way…. Coach Pop is a shining example of that. Great post Ziz!! Thank you. BE OUTSTANDING! Becky Hammon inducted into Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame. Congratulations Becky, you are Excellent! Excellence requires courage, commitment and consistency. “Just be you, you’re going to be great.” Words Popovich would text Becky often. Imagine what’s possible when you invest in others and make an impact that changes the trajectory of one’s life and career. Sports has that impact because it involves people and it requires excellence for those who’ll impact others in a manner that touches one’s heart and soul. Be Excellent today, impact another! #sports #business #leadership

Senior Sports Media & Communication Student w/ Minors In Entrepreneurship & Business and Law | Seeking Internships in The Sports Marketing and Sports Agencies Industries | Aspiring to Help and Assist Athletes Globally
Something really cool happened for the second time yesterday in the NIL world. Texas Longhorns quarterback Quinn Ewers signed an NIL deal with Nicolas Air, a private jet company. This is awesome because it breaks an interesting pattern of the "usual" NIL deals. Usually, we see athletes sign deals in the industries of food, health, clothing, etc., but a deal like this came out of left field! Ewers joins Jaxson Dart, quarterback for Ole Miss, as the second player to receive a deal from Nicolas Air. A question to think about today is what other interesting industries will make a name for themselves in the NIL world? Overall, this is an awesome NIL deal and I hope they get the most out of it with Nicolas Air!

Unlocking influence: What can athletes, artists, marketing professionals, and creatives learn about brand building? - Author, Film Producer, Keynote Speaker, NIL Thought Leader, Educator.
Do you love football, or are you "in like" Can great athletes be great leaders and coaches? Can they relate to athletes that are not like them? It's fascinating to see how Deion is leading the University of Colorado Boulder, whether you are a supporter or not. However, he now faces a significant challenge. Losing after being up 29-0 at halftime is disappointing. If you played sports, you lost games you should not have, maybe taking your foot off the gas. Perhaps you were down in games you thought were hopeless and felt like it was "over." These are things that happen to all competitors; it's human nature. Life's challenges are made #relatable by great leaders who make success seem #attainable. Using #nil and the transfer portal has proven to be an interesting test case. Deion's future success this season will depend on his ability to make winning seem relatable and attainable for his team. Can he effectively communicate and connect with his players, especially those who have yet to experience his success? It is a fascinating case study in leadership; I can't wait to watch it. The Players NIL coaches how to use athletics to better your life. Let's use REAL NIL to change lives and make a difference for our future leaders. Note: language if offensive to you. Mike McDaniel is a TRUE leader. Listen to him take responsibility for his errors and how it impacted his team. Listen to him discuss how to correct and take action on those errors. THIS is why his team follows him loyally and why the Miami Dolphins (not even my team BTW) are just going to keep becoming greater. THIS is what leadership is all about. #leadership #mikemcdaniel Miami Dolphins and Hard Rock Stadium #loyalty #growthmindset ▶️ Watch this reel
