Hey everyone, I'm Elaine Atzmon, founding product designer at SmartPass, and I'm taking over LinkedIn today to share some exciting updates about Schedules! Admins and teachers are juggling a hundred different things at any given moment, and I see Schedules as our way of lightening that load and giving schools the reassurance they need in their buildings without having multiple tabs open. I focused on bringing Schedules into the teacher and student experiences. This included adding the day type, period countdown and rostered classes to the teacher homepage. With Schedules: 🍎 Teachers are now able to easily see their current students with a new shortcut to create a pass right from the student name. 🍎 Teachers and students no longer need to select the student’s starting room since we know where that student is scheduled to be! 🍎 Students will also see the day type on their homepage now, even when there’s a modified bell schedule. And that only scratches the surface! Schedules has been such a massive effort for the entire team and the impact it’s making on schools is already so exciting to see. From safety to efficiency, Schedules has taken the entire product to the next level and made SmartPass even smarter. The beautiful thing about SmartPass is we build directly from feedback. Schedules is no exception and it was a huge collaborative effort both across SmartPass teams and with our wonderful community of users. Can’t wait to see everything Schedules brings to K-12 schools! #productdesign #thankyou #k12
