Proactively focusing on the #middleeast #gcc regions and its growth around their build on Data Strategies, and thereon the link in particular to the host and sustainability of data center's. I have come across an array of articles and posts, but this one in particular caught my attention.
"Cities of the future, supported by digital technologies, are expected to generate massive amounts of data. It is critical to optimize data capture, storage, and processing." - Source: https://lnkd.in/eeXapdxJ
My immediate question strings back to 'Data Strategies' at a enterprise-wide and to a regional level. Yes, there is an element of competition and politics to host the x-number of data center's, I understand the importance to this. However, is the criticality of how to optimize data capture, storage and processing very large datasets across the lineage and workflow? considered and part of any form of data strategy, or are is there an element of a 'rat race' to the 2030 Global Agenda of 'Sustainability Development' ?
