The word SOLUTION is way overused. It takes about 1 second to find the word solution on a company website. It'll be within the first 5 seconds of a video ad. And written content? My goodness! At least 3 times per paragraph you'll see the word "solution". There's a principal in video that really is true everywhere. SHOW don't TELL. You don't need TELL your customers, "we have a solution". That's repetitive and so overused it has become meaningless. Just SHOW what it is you do, provide case studies, and your clients will be able to figure it out on their own. Humans are wired to problem solve. If you lay out the pieces, they'll solve the puzzle. If you tell them the answer, they'll get bored and move on. Let me know your thoughts on this!

📚 Navigating the Tech Documentation Maze: Balancing Depth and Brevity 🚀 In the labyrinth of technical documentation, the perennial question persists: more paragraphs or more pages? Let's unravel this dilemma! 🌐 More Paragraphs: For those seeking clarity and depth, a profusion of paragraphs is the key. This approach excels in elucidating intricate concepts, providing step-by-step guidance, and offering contextual insights into specific features. 📄 More Pages: On the flip side, a bounty of pages facilitates modular organization and enhances skimmability. Users can swiftly navigate to the information they need, making it print-friendly for those who prefer tangible guides. 💡 Striking the Perfect Balance: The sweet spot lies in finding the right equilibrium. Tailoring your documentation to the content's complexity and the user's preferences ensures a user-friendly experience. Quality paragraphs for detailed explanations and judicious use of pages for modular convenience create the winning formula. What's your go-to strategy? Share your thoughts! 💬 #TechDocs #DocumentationDebate #UserExperience #ContentCreation #TechTips #CommunicationStrategies 🚀

Recurring themes in content-design content 1. small but mighty teams! 2. tiny tweaks, big impact! 3. microcopy* Now I understand that, literally speaking, text doesn't take up many pixels. That from an eng perspective, text changes are "easy," a "light lift. But why do we so often stress the smol-ness of our work? There's nothing small about the words — the concepts — we wield, friends. In fact, they're just as deeply foundational as the code that animates our work. Words are infra. We are the stewards of our products' cognitive architecture. Stop diminishing your own work! *thankfully seems to have fallen out of favor, but you still see it here and there.
