AVERAGE Presentation: - Rushes into the main content - Ignores the importance of the start and end - Overly focused on slides and forgets the audience - Lacks rehearsal, resulting in fumbles during complex parts - Fails to engage the audience with questions, stories, eye contact… PRO Presentation: - Treats it as a two-way conversation - Uses storytelling and strategic pauses - Pays close attention to the opening and closing - Sets the tone with a strong, engaging introduction - Rehearses thoroughly, ‘choreographing’ the meeting Love them or hate them, presentations can be a dividing line between an agency that’s surviving or thriving. Don’t practise until you get it right, practice until you can’t get it wrong. Record yourself. Watch it back. Improve. It's not just what you say, but how you say it that counts.

How do you get people to fall in love with your company/product/service through your website? Through STORYTELLING 📖 -- Think of a bland PowerPoint given in monotone versus a presentation given by a gifted storyteller. Big difference on audience takeaway, right? Some of the most impactful presentations I’ve attended or watched are where the speaker connected all the dots for me and provided examples of what they were talking about, making it feel like I had a personal connection with them. On the flip side, some of the ones where I lost attention the quickest were where I felt like it was a “this could have been an email” type speech :) You know what I’m talking about. -- Don’t make your website a bland presentation with no personality and monotone copy 🥱 If you have a company, you have a story. So TELL IT. Infuse your entire website with storytelling and your brand voice. Connect the dots for your users. Create an experience that they will actually REMEMBER and have a positive association with.

Giving a proper presentation involves several key elements, including choosing a proper theme or topic, structuring your content effectively, and delivering it in an engaging and clear manner. Here are some important points to consider when preparing and delivering a presentation: 1. Define Your Purpose: Determine the primary goal of your presentation. Ensure its specific and focused to avoid overwhelming your audience. 4. Structure Your Content: Organize your presentation with a clear beginning, middle, and end. Consider using a structure like Introduction, Body, and Conclusion. Use a logical flow and transitions between sections to help your audience follow along. 5. Create Engaging Visuals: Use visuals such as slides, images, and videos to enhance your message. Keep visuals simple, uncluttered, and relevant to your content. What makes a great story (and a great presentation)? Are you a presenter or a storyteller? 🔴 Presenters throw loads of information AT us. Their presentation often lacks structure, their slides are heavy with text and their images are poor quality. There is no clear message and we leave their presentation often confused and no better informed. ✅ Storytellers engage us. They take us on a journey – tell a compelling story, use the minimum of text, have powerful images and, most importantly, have a very clear message. 💰 What's the secret to great storytelling - and a great presentation? It's having a very clear structure (and using The Power of 3 technique): ✅ Hook ✅ 3 key messages ✅ Conclusion Your hook grabs your audience's attention - your hook could be a short story, a quote, a statistic, an image, a rhetorical question, or a very short video clip). The body of your presentation may have one key message, two key messages, or three key messages, but never more than three. And finally, your conclusion is your overriding message - that ONE thing that you want your audience to take away, remember, and, most importantly, put into action. 👍 And here's the real secret to a great structure - if you can link your conclusion back to your hook you will have structured a great presentation.
