We have introduced Astral Resources (ASX: AAR) as a Stock to Watch, following the release of a favourable Scoping Study with respect to its 100%-owned Mandilla Gold Project, near Kalgoorlie in Western Australia. I also had the opportunity recently for a briefing with Managing Director, Marc Ducler, whom we have known for many years and who was last in charge of Egan Street Resources, a former coverage gold company that was successfully taken over in November 2019 at $0.52 (coverage initiated in August 2017 at $0.27). We have no doubt that AAR has the potential to attract significant corporate interest, given it is one of the largest undeveloped free-milling, open-pit gold projects (1,265Moz @ 1.1g/t) within the Kalgoorlie region. Scoping Study highlights include free cash flow of $740M from an operation with 11-year life, NPV (8%) of $442M, IIR of 73%, Payback period of 0.75 years, and All-in Sustaining Costs of $1,648 per oz.

Today, Sizewell C has announced its agreement with three sites at ABP's ports of Lowestoft and Ipswich, which will be used for the storage of construction materials, as the project prepares for the start of construction. The agreement highlights how ABP’s ports in East Anglia are ideal as key hubs for handling construction materials and play a key role in more sustainable supply chains. The movement of significant volumes of cargo by rail and sea is a vital step in reducing the number of trucks on local roads. Our efforts within the Perth industrial market have not only been fulfilling but have also prepared the 'groundwork' for an exciting 2024 ahead.
