Woop woop 🙌 Last year, whilst completing my Marketing apprenticeship, I took part in #DMIP2023 - the Digital Marketing Internship Programme from Girls in Marketing. So now as a Marketing admin with (almost) 2 years' experience in the industry, it feels very representative to be taking part in the 'step up' from that, the Digital Marketing Growth Programme. Progression and growth are some of my top priorities when it comes to my marketing career. I entered the industry postgraduate, with a degree in Drama. I loved working in theatre, but I wasn't sure I wanted a career in it anymore. The whole experience had been tarnished by the challenges of the pandemic. It felt like in the blink of an eye, I went from a 19-year-old with little direction in life to a 22-year-old who wanted a career. I wanted to move on from that portion of my life. And I knew I wouldn't be satisfied if that career didn't fulfil me creatively and allow me to constantly improve. So I took a leap of faith, and some educated guesses, which brought me to this day - loving and thriving in marketing! ✨ I'm incredibly excited to take part in the programme.
