We are celebrating Steve Rosenboom's 50 year anniversary with Six Flags!
Steve joined the Six Flags Over Texas team in 1970 where he started in Grounds Quality and quickly moved to Animations in 1978. While in Animations, some of Steve's work included the Original Speelunkers 'Cave' ride, Casa Magnetica, Fiesta Train, LaSalle’s River Boat, and the Dancing Tamales on the Railroad to name a few. In 1985 he moved to Art & Sign and was instrumental in the refurbishing of the Carousel - Steve was responsible for the complete rebuild of 24 horses!
When asked what he’s enjoyed most about his career at Six Flags he said he loves what he does and enjoys the culture of everyone taking care of each other...he’s made lifelong friends along the way that have taught him so much and he wouldn’t be where he is at without them!

In the Market of Giants (and 49ers), Our Local Focus Makes Us Mighty
In today's globalized world, it's easy to overlook the power of local expertise and commitment. But at NASLEF, we understand that being an underdog can be a superpower. Our members, often considered niche players compared to industry giants, are thriving thanks to their unwavering dedication to serving specific local and regional geographies. Here's why we believe this focus is a strategic advantage:
1. Deep Community Roots: Our members are woven into the fabric of their communities. They understand the unique needs, challenges, and opportunities of their local markets like no outsider can. This deep understanding fosters trust and loyalty with partners, creating a competitive edge in a world increasingly craving authenticity.
2. Unwavering Passion: Our members are driven by a genuine passion for their communities and the people they serve. This passion translates into exceptional service and dedication, qualities that resonate deeply with partners who value personal connections and meaningful interactions.
3. Collaboration and Innovation: Our members recognize the power of
collaboration. They readily share knowledge, resources, and best practices, fostering a culture of innovation that benefits both individual businesses and the community as a whole.
4. Building a Stronger Future: By investing in their local communities, our members are building a more resilient and prosperous future for all. They create homes, support local businesses, and contribute to the overall well-being of the regions they serve. This commitment to shared success
sets them apart from corporations solely focused on maximizing profits.
We are proud of our members, the underdogs who are proving that local focus and commitment can be a winning formula. They are an inspiration to us all, demonstrating that true success often lies in serving your community with passion, dedication, and a commitment to making a positive impact.

What a beautiful day at Levi's Stadium with the sky starting off a Honolulu Blue but turning red and yellow along with the fate of the game. What a great season for Detroit. Whoever is America's team, Detroit will always be mine. 💙 #onepride
As a remote employee, it can be difficult to facilitate professional connections and foster a sense of belonging within an organization. Since moving across the country, it's something I've personally struggled with in not having a local office.
However, when you work amongst the best sales team and they rally together for in-office events, it's impossible to not be overwhelmed with lightheartedness and humour. Keeping the office culture alive allows remote employees to vicariously experience it when they otherwise don't have the option to experience it in person, so I'd like to give a huge thanks to the dream team in putting office events together.
Disclaimer: being a sales engineer, I could never make a grandiose statement like "I work amongst the best sales team" without supporting evidence, so I'll let the data speak for itself.
(And for future reference, I'd make a sweet Goomba)
Welcome to Super Mario World on The Boulevard! 🍄
Our pod at Verafin HQ (affectionately nicknamed The Boulevard) got together to build a live-action version of Super Mario for our entry into the annual Halloween decorating contest.
Why no Mario you ask? Anyone who walked through wore the Mario hat and had to complete challenges!! And yes that’s right, we have a legitimate and literal Bowser.
We had so much fun watching people complete the games and laughed more than normal!
Happy Halloween!

_____ was just _____ of age…
We just heard that phrase once again when Dallas Cowboys Hall of Famer Larry Allen passed away at 52.
I don’t know the details but I do know that we all don’t know when but we do know the inevitability of the outcome.
Are you sleepwalking through life or are you doing everything possible to live your version of an extraordinary life?
We created this logo as a symbol of the truth…
We only have one life.

How a Circus Saved the Brooklyn Bridge.
In 1883, New Yorkers were super nervous about the brand-new Brooklyn Bridge. They were so scared it might collapse that when a woman tripped, it caused a huge panic, and many people got hurt.
The bridge’s owners had previously turned down a $5,000 offer from Barnum to let him parade his circus animals across it as a publicity stunt, but they changed their minds after the accident.
P.T. Barnum, a clever showman known for his circus, had an idea. He knew that seeing meant believing. He wanted to show everyone that the bridge was strong. So, on the night of May 17, 1884, he marched 21 elephants and 17 camels across the bridge.
The famous Jumbo was part of the procession, as was “Toung Taloung,” a white elephant Barnum had recently acquired from Thailand. The parade was a priceless piece of advertising for Barnum’s circus, and the combined weight of the elephants—many of which tipped the scales at over 10,000 pounds—helped put to rest any worries about the bridge’s stability.
The huge animals made it across without any trouble, and this amazing sight convinced people that the bridge was safe. 🐘🐪
🌉 Sometimes, to solve a big problem, you need a big, bold action. Barnum’s idea helped everyone see the bridge’s strength in a fun and unforgettable way.

🎲 Tabletop role-playing games (TTRPGs) often don't receive the recognition they deserve for their potential to enhance team bonding within corporate settings.
🤝 These games not only serve as a fantastic avenue for individuals to unleash their creativity, strengthen interpersonal relationships, tackle challenges collaboratively, and revel in shared accomplishments, but they also provide a unique opportunity for employees to relax, have a good time, and let their hair down in a low pressure setting.
🔎 These elements can subsequently lead to more seamless collaboration, improved communication, and an overall more dynamic and engaging workplace culture!

Do you take part in any "after school clubs" at your workplace?
At Embryo we have a Dungeons & Dragons campaign that's been running for nearly a year! I get a massive kick out of being their Dungeon Master :)
Last night was one of the best sessions we've had yet, as the group attempted to disrupt a dark ritual & save the townspeople they've come to know and love.
As a marketer, I just want to say... what a smart idea! 💡
Nobody can deny that Collision Conf is a great event, an ideal platform to connect with providers, clients, and, of course, investors 🤑 . But that's exactly why it's full of competitors too 😥 . So, in this ocean of companies, entrepreneurs, and start-ups, how can you stand out from the crowd? 🤷♂️
Cormac Doyle and his partner made a difference, wearing wizard costumes 🧙♂️ 🧙♂️ that perfectly matched their product named Merlin (a legendary wizard 🏰 ). This, as simple as it may seem, makes a huge difference. It not only captures attention during the event but also afterward with the content (videos and photos 📸 ) you produce. People will remember your brand 🧠 because of the impression you made, and someone like me will share your content 🔄 because it’s valuable. That’s why, dear Cormac, that was a truly smart idea.
This is the essence of the marketing strategy.
What do you think—was it a smart move?
