I'm a #mom, a #scientist, a #RegisteredDietitian and I work in industry. While I love my industry career, I am certainly not blind to the critique and stigma that comes with it. To add even more fuel to the fire, I have chosen to work in the #InfantFormula industry, which I have repeatedly been reminded of recently many people consider the absolute 'dark side' - it's not. I'm sharing some of my thoughts in this LinkedIn Article and would love to hear your experiences and reactions, because frankly, I'm ready to shake the stigma around #IndustryScientist and nurture the tension that currently exists. I'm beyond grateful for the supportive work environment at Bobbie where #NurturingTheTension and #ShakingTheStigma are two of our core values which all my coworkers embrace daily. It truly could not be a better place for me to work as I'm grappling with how to navigate my own field.
