What's worse than getting the same pitch every day, three times a day? Getting the same pitch with zero personalization and empty promises.
Since launching my agency, I've met "Jovan" in various forms, but always with the same tasteless flavour.
The USPs are always the same:
🤔 10-15 qualified leads per week/day/month
🤔 Sales increase by 10x with zero effort (now with added AI magic!)
🤔 [insert any number of $$$ here] more revenue every month
Jovan, this approach doesn't cut through the noise. Here are some tips:
1️⃣ 𝐒𝐮𝐛𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞: “Qualified sales calls” is vague and lacks urgency. Do I really need them?
2️⃣ 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞: Build rapport! “Hi Luca” without addressing my specific needs is lazy and non-personalized. It feels like I'm just another name on your spam list.
3️⃣ 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐩: Cut the clutter. Keep it simple. Use the K.I.S.S. principle: “Keep It Simple, Stupid.”
4️⃣ 𝐂𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐬/𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐟: A case study link with no context is worthless. Add some numbers and make it interesting (P.S., Jovan, your link didn’t even work).
5️⃣ 𝐂𝐓𝐀: You started weak, and you ended weaker. Make it more engaging!
Sales professionals have suffered a stigma due to lazy, cookie-cutter approaches like Jovan's.
Outbound isn't dead yet, but it might be soon if we keep pushing non-personalized, solution-focused (instead of problem-solution-focused) strategies.
There are ways to scale and still be personal in your outreach. Put in a bit more effort, Jovan. I know you can.
