🌟 Day 2 at MWC 2024: Exploring the Frontier of Tech Innovations 🌟 As the second day of the Mobile World Congress 2024 draws to a close, I find myself energized by a day filled with networking, educational experiences, and inspiring conversations. My day commenced at our #iotsquared booth, part of the #stc exhibit. I then stopped by several booths. While I can't mention each one, a few highlights stood out to me: 🌐 Qualcomm #qualcomm 💡 I experienced the AI model, Stable Diffusion, on two PCs - a Snapdragon SOC with integrated CPU, GPU, and NPU, and an Intel Evo with just CPU and GPU. The Snapdragon excelled, particularly because the model ran on its NPU, a feature not present in the Intel Evo I think it's important for Qualcomm and its ecosystem to not only concentrate on Windows compatibility but also to prioritize creating a Linux distribution and making sure their AI stack works seamlessly with it 💡 AI-Optimized Wi-Fi 7 and its myriad business applications. https://lnkd.in/dPvPCNi3 🔍 Mediatek #mediatek ✅ Witnessed a demo of customized AI models running on MediaTek SOC devices. ✅Experienced the benchmarking of RedCap RFSoC for 5G IoT wearables, including voice and VR-based video applications 🎙️ Invaluable Sessions 🏭 Attended the Manufacturing Summit, focusing on "The Road to Manufacturing DX." There are several semiconductor technologies that are currently being discussed for 6G. All of these technologies come with their own benefits, and 6G will likely use a combination of at least two of them. New semiconductors will need to be capable of transmitting data at very high speeds - at least 100 Gbit per second. They will also need to be extremely energy efficient and have minimal latency for instant, immersive connectivity.
