People Driven - Blue Line Solutions • Arcuri Group • Broaddus Defense - Retired Sergeant Virginia State Police
1993. #Teamwork in Virginia Beach - Division V Area 32. 📷 Remember when you rolled film into a camera? I snapped this Kodak windshield pic as several of us were en route to a special assignment. ✅ Each one of us had specific instructions on our individual responsibilities during the SA. 💡Teamwork #success stems from each person taking solid ownership in their individual roles, responses, & duties. Collectively, when this occurs - it’s like pieces of a puzzle 🧩 🧩 snapping into their respective places - setting up for a positive outcome. ✅ Post LE career transition - it’s been quite refreshing to see these very same attributes equate to #business success. And - if you remember the classic Virginia State Police paint scheme, raise your hand. 🙋🏻♂️ #humanresources #lawenforcement

So, are your shots still hitting the target low and to the left? Maybe you’re wondering, “How do you know, Lucas?” Hold on, young Padawan, we’ll explain everything in today’s text. When shooting a pistol, the most common shooting errors for right-handed individuals are shots that impact the lower left part of the target. This is quite common among shooters and varies in terms of individual results. (continue reading...) https://lnkd.in/d2fvAReH #firearms #weapons #guns #shooting #2ndamendment #ccw

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR: To begin with, it's probably best that we share who we're NOT looking for. The Constructors Guild™ will never allow the following types of people into our organization: ❌ arrogant people ❌ takers ❌ deceitful people ❌ selfish ❌ self-centred (there's a difference from the former) ❌ spectators ❌ bullshiters The reasons why we won't allow these type of people into our group are to, first and foremost, preserve the sanctity of our organization as well as to remain protective of the individuals who have entrusted us with their vulnerability and super powers. The Constructors Guild™ can be thought of as Top Gun. Coincidentally, there is a scene in the original movie where Cmdr. Mike "Viper" Metcalf is describing to his class of Top Gun pilots just exactly who they are. "The top 1% of all naval aviators. The elite. The best of the best." However, after stroking their ego, he then proceeds to inform them that the program will make them better. There are some similarities between the Constructors Guild™ and Top Gun, just different. Ours are better. Who said we weren't at least a bit arrogant?! 😉 We won't stop at just the top 1%. We want to expand our reach because we believe that there are more than just 1% of high-level construction professionals out there. The following are what we consider right-fit types of individuals: ✅ High-level leaders that [humbly] know they have a good 'A' game, but want to take it to the next level, and want to help others achieve higher levels as well. ✅ Individuals that are tired of the status quo, know they are capable of better but just need a right-fit group to persevere and reach for the goals. ✅ Individuals that feel they have more in them, but maybe doubt themselves. Yet, surrounded by the right group, will blossom and accomplish goals and objectives they've previously thought as unattainable. ✅ Individuals that understand that they are their most valuable investment and want to treat themselves the same way. About the only exact similarity we have with the movie Top Gun is that WE WILL BECOME BETTER TOGETHER. Because collaboration is the currency of the future. 💰 Because in the unforgiving, unappreciative, and isolating industry we work in. Nothing is ever to be done or experienced alone. If this and/or what Gianluca has shared in the attached video describes you, or has you feeling it's time to make a move. It's simple. A DM or filling out an inquiry form on our landing page (link in comments) is what will get you to that next step. Hit us up either way!!! Remember: You gut instinct speaks loudly only once. After that, its voice gets progressively softer. Listen to it! #community #construction #constructionindustry #constructorsguild

I think this piece is one of the more informative posts I've made this year. That virtually guarantees no one will read it. Just because you have a weapon mounted light on your carry pistol doesn't mean you are prepared to fight in the dark. Read this article to learn about the holes in your low light training.

Project Reckless Update: i showed a model of a mob type character, A minor that is now referd to as a Company-man which are the work force behind the main antagonist of the Reckless story line. (in the bottom right of the picture) while they are not the front line soldiers of the company (that going to the trigger men with a deal struck between them) they are still combat efficient workers and as such have access to tools to better aid them in such matters. the Arm guard C99 multi combatant hand gun or just the c99 for short, is a half bolt action rifle and half pump action shot gun, with a gun select lever on top of the rifle wooden grip. because their work requires them to be in multiple and vastly different environments that are not always welcoming the company sore fit to outfit them with the C99 a complicated mechanism but feat of engineering to better serve meeting their quotas, by providing them protection at both long range and short range at the flip of a switch. the only down side of it is its rather heavy how ever because of the work the company-men do they do not have any problems with its weight.

Dreaming about shooting can represent a variety of psychological and personal meanings depending on the specific context and details of the dream. Some common interpretations and potential meanings include: Being shot in a dream often signifies feelings of vulnerability, powerlessness, or victimization in one's waking life. It also may reflect a sense of being threatened or overwhelmed byexternal forces beyond your control. On the other hand, dreaming that you are the shooter or doing the shooting yourself can represent a desire to gain power, assert control, or take charge of difficult situations. It may reveal aggressive or assertive tendencies emerging from your subconscious mind. The type of gun used can offer additional clues. For instance, dreaming of shooting a handgun may relate to personal matters or relationships close to home, while a rifle could connect to ambition, competition, or - https://lnkd.in/gXNNxZuq

In the military and law enforcement, the role of a spotter is crucial to the effectiveness and safety of a sniper operation. Working in tandem, the spotter and sniper form an extraordinary pair where the spotter is responsible for observing the environment, calculating wind speed and distance, identifying targets, ensuring clear communication, etc. This partnership significantly enhances the precision and efficacy of long-range shots. Moreover, the spotter plays a vital role in safeguarding the sniper by maintaining situational awareness, offering tactical advice, and coordinating with other team members to prevent compromise, etc. Does this apply to sport precision rifle shooting, long range shooting, extreme long range shooting, etc…? IMHO….YES it does. Obviously sport shooting is a completely different ball game and all the snipery bits go out of the window. However clear communication and verbiage with your spotter is key to get those plates ringing and gets rid of unnecessary distractions and useless chitchat. Especially when you have a very short wind window and wanna make those shots count. #tier1firearmstraining, #precisionrifle, #firearmseducation, #longrangeprecision, #65creedmoor, #DesignatedMarksman, #spotterup, #longrangeshooting, #precisionriflemarksmanship, #sendit, #defesivemarksmandetail, #sniper, #sniperspotter, #extremelongrangeshooting, #kestreltools, #leupoldoptics, #peltorcomtac,

Just a reminder that the Second Edition of The Sniper's Notebook is available exclusively through me. This book is intended for the sniper getting ready to attend his first school, to forewarn him about all the wrong stuff that he’ll be taught. It’s also for the experienced sniper to answer that nagging feeling he has that there must be a better way. And it’s also for the sniper instructor who wants to train his students better than he was trained. It isn’t intended to be the kind of book that you start at the beginning, continue to the end and then stop. Some chapters will be of greatest interest to police snipers, some to military snipers and a number will appeal to both equally. TRANSITIONING FROM THE PATROL RIFLE® TO THE PISTOL IS A PIECE OF CAKE, EXCEPT WHEN IT MUST BE DONE UNDER LIFE-THREATENING STRESS 42% - That’s the hit rate of 24 seasoned LEO’s while transitioning from the rifle to the pistol from a standing position at 6 yards in the scenario you see in this video. The total video length is roughly 20 seconds. These LEO’s have been on the job for some time and collectively, they have lots of experience, including attending many different firearms schools throughout their careers. Of the 24 LEO’s who recently attended our Patrol Rifle Instructor schools over the last two weeks, here is the performance breakdown: · 3 decided not to take the shot. These officers’ transitions were very slow, missing their opportunity to hit the bad guy in the open before he grabbed a little girl to use as human shield. They wisely did not force a shot. · 10 hit the bad guy. · 3 forced shots and hit a hostage. · 8 fired and missed the bad guy and the hostages. My takeaway based on this very small sample of 24 LEO’s, and 20+ years of watching this scenario with undocumented but similar results, is that as a profession, we need to up the importance and realism of the transition training we are providing. Progressive instructors will induce stress to invoke a faster transition to make the training more realistic. That is awesome, but please don’t forget about how important accuracy after the transition is for your student’s survival. If you’re not doing that, please consider doing so at future training sessions. Think about it for a second; if an officer must transition to the pistol the situation is already an adrenaline-dumping life-threatening experience that they must navigate to survive. Using this live-fire technology I continue to be amazed at how often LEO’s miss and with how many shots officers often fire using semi-automatic weapon systems. It’s very common to watch them blast multiple rounds (like 3-6) and most of those rounds are often misses. When I ask students why they fired so many rounds instead of concentrating on making a hit with the first round, they generally say that it’s been embedded in them to fire until the threat stops. This makes me wonder about the clarity of the training they have received as the answer implies that missing is ok so long as you eventually hit the target. I gently remind these officers that we are not on the battlefield of Iraq or Afghanistan and that they are accountable for every single round they fire. My conclusion based on three decades of training LEO’s is that missing in training and on the street is somehow generally acceptable. I do my very best to influence them to become the enemy of missing any time they fire a weapon. Thank you for taking a minute to read this and I hope you find this information useful.
