Medical Removal Protection (MRP) would be triggered by one BLL reading of 30 µg/dL, down from 50 µg/dL in the current rule. MRP would also be triggered when a worker’s last two BLLs are at least 20 µg/dL or when the average of all BLLs in the last six months is at least 20 µg/dL. Workers’ BLLs must be at least 15 µg/dL before they can return to work involving lead (e.g., working in or maintaining a firing range, gun smithing, etc.). The current requirement for returning to work is 40 µg/dL. This beginner level class teaches the necessary knowledge, skills and attitude for safe gun handling, maintenance, and shooting based on NRA national standards. It is also a prerequisite for those who want to achieve their NRA Pistol Instructor certification. Students may bring their own firearm, or rent one on site. Ammunition for firearm rentals must be purchased on site. Students may bring their own Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) safety glasses and hearing protection, or purchase on site. A minimum of 100 rounds of ammunition is recommended for this course. Ensure that any ammunition brought by the student for their Personally Owned Firearm (POF) is not steel, aluminum or bi-metal cased, as this cannot be utilized on the indoor range. Prerequisites: no

Ever since I was in school for gunsmithing and machining I've been a fan of Palmetto State Armory. I was able to take a facility tour in 2018, and that sealed the deal for me. PSA produces good products and I am really shocked that there is a double standard from consumers in regards to PSA's QC. The companies that produce weapons for Uncle Sam and our allies deal with the same things, but no one will question dropping the funds on a URGI(I own one as well). The same goes for the ammo manufacturer AAC. For an ammo company that's been in existence for less than 2 years, they've managed to take up a large share of the market for how young the company and products are. Even so I'm constantly seeing people in the industry talk down on AAC ammo. In the last 3 years of working in the defense industry I've noticed a significant decrease in the QC of M118 and standard ball ammo across the board in the Marine Corps. Yet because it's a brand tied to the DOD, no one will bat an eye. I've seen weapon systems fail in the field due to factory defects or downright atrocious metallurgy. I don't see those manufacturers getting hate. God forbid someone buys a box of 77gr AAC from Palmetto State Armory website and it has 2 different types of primers in the box of ammo; we're going to end up getting a 20 minute rant about said ammo on YouTube or Facebook, or any social media saying it's garbage ammo just like their guns. I think it's time we end the double standard. More people in the industry need to acknowledge that Palmetto is more than just a bargain bin company. If anything my personal opinion is that they're probably the Largest firearms manufacturer in the Nation at this point.

You can convert a 1911 pistol to 22LR as fast as you can field strip and reassemble it. It takes me a few minutes. A skilled armorer might be able to do it in under a minute. In this video we will: 1. Field strip a replica of a 1911A1 Pistol. 2. Convert it to 22 long rifle, 3. Strip it down again. 4. Convert it back to 45 ACP and reassemble. https://lnkd.in/gNbq7tuW
