This was the most challenging shot I got on the production of the music video "Paranoia" for Riot Games created by SAUVAGE.TV. The trickiest part was to get the camera right while stay flexible for additional feedbacks. I had to be careful that I only used constraints when they really were needed and got rid of them again at the right time. For instance the closeup on Aphelios' eye. I had to set a constraint on his eye to get rid of the small shakes and to be able to adjust his movements without correcting the camera all the time. But then there comes the transition from Aphelios to Yone and I had to find a way to make it smooth. In the end I had to adjust the camera frame by frame for some parts, because there was to much going on and constraints couldn't help me anymore. I was really glad I had a good animatic to rely on. Otherwise I would have thought this shot is much too crazy and too much is going on. Let me know what you think about crazy camera movements like this. Do you think less is more? Super-quick Unreal Engine 5 animation trick for if you've got something happening to music, such as a character dancing. You can place your music track in the timeline, hit play, and tap a Make Keyframe diamond on the beat with your mouse-button. Then you can go and back-animate the moves you wanted to happen rhythmically. Especially useful if you're animating to a piece of music whose Beats Per Minute doesn't divide into your frame-rate. Clicking to the rhythm is a lot easier than dividng 130BPM into 29.976FPS.

Finally created the clone website of spotify. It took me 4 days but i learned a lot of things like how to fetch data and learnt a lot about dom manipulation. I came to Malta in 2018 and I left Brazil with a personal mission: to build my way into AAA games. I knew I had to get to consoles and PC and with time, patience, perseverance and a lot of sweat, I would get there somehow. I learned Spine for real, less than 6 years ago, that doesn't mean learn animation. As I like to preach, animation is not about software, they are just tools, and I have this concept happening in my life over and over again. Believe me, it is for real and this is the main reason behind teaching animation with my Spinemation.com project. I was new to Spine but already an experienced animator, I guess this was what the studio saw in my portfolio…animation, not software. This short journey into 2d animation for games opened so may doors for me, specially in indie productions, like this one. Since 2018 I've been collaborating in many projects, with different studios, some got cancelled, some still looking for funding, investors, distribution, but so far, none of them got shipped to the big and popular platforms like PlayStation or Xbox...not until what I’ve found this year. The funny thing is that this game was released in 2021 and I had no idea about this until this year. I was looking into my files and found the project folder and jump into Google and BAAAMMM! Surprise! There I had my animations running on PS4, PS5, Xbox, Steam and Nintendo Switch.😮 I have no idea what happened with the studio, Alien Pixel, they didn’t care to let me know about the release, but the game somehow hit the market and has some good reviews, I didn't have the chance to play it yet, but if you did, let me know how it is...and this episode was great to remind myself that hard work, consistency and patience are great friends to have along with you on the road. I don't know where you are on your journey, but keep going!
