Chevy Corvette C2 Big Block Build Is A Black And Gold Beauty https://lnkd.in/eWJ9SAnt Fans of the Chevrolet Corvette will always love the C2, but this particular example created by Nostalgia Hot Rods is just an all-around stunner of a car. Sure, the original car might be a lot of people's favorites, but how this one was restored and built is just perfect. The car in question, recently shown off on the Autotopia LA YouTube channel, is a 1965 model sporting a 1967 hood with that bulgy, eye-catching hood scoop. Originally, the car was propelled by a 327 engine rated at 250 horsepower at stock. The builder ditched that, and it received a bigger 427 big block V8 crate engine that makes 500 horsepower to the rear wheels. Of note, a stock 427 big block made about 430 horsepower from the factory. That means it received a healthy increase of 70 horsepower without forced induction.
