Congratulatory Post! Sherpa Air’s team culture prioritizes celebrating our team wins, both big and small. This week, one of our teammates realized a professional milestone thanks to the support of our operations team and our industry partner.      We are proud to announce that Charlie Magness completed the requirements to serve as a Check Airman on our DHC-8 300. We look forward to Charlie leading our team’s future pilot instruction and conducting flight checks. Sherpa Air prioritizes giving back to the community.   Thanks to our teammate and advocate Jim Taylor, Georgetown County Airport Manager, we were able to take a morning to do just that.      On November 30th, Sherpa Air welcomed a local elementary school group for a tour of our new 30,000 square foot hangar and Dash 8-300 aircraft.   Our Sherpas gave over 70 students and their chaperones the opportunity to walk about the cabin, peek into the cockpit, and ask questions about our equipment.  I’m not sure who had more fun, our Sherpas or the kids.  To echo Jim Taylor’s sentiment, we know that “some of these youngsters will be replacing us someday.” #sherpagiving #hangar #aviation #publicservice #elevatingthestatusquo
