If a founder of food startup doesn't even understands the basic of 'back of panel' nutritional table and still gets the funding in #SharkTankIndia, then I don't worry about their funders but their current/future consumers. SharkTank Funders are sharp enough to minimize the damage in future or get atleast 2x-3x of their investment back. But what about the gullible consumers? Maybe India has enough pool of such non-enlightened consumers of food who give a damn about the nutrition of their meal. Till such consumers are there, we will keep seeing mushrooming of such food startups.
