Gratitude Day 14: I am grateful for challenges. Challenges are problems to solve or opportunities to manage depending on how you look at them. I love games, math and solving problems. Like Richard Rohr writes about the two halves of life, first half: finding who we are, second half: living who we are! I see the same apply in high performance. A first half; to find performance we are in the 'adding more, doing more' game (faster, higher, stronger). In the second half to achieve sustained high performance we enter the 'subtracting, better thinking' game (slower, deeper, wiser).
