Thank you RSM - Singapore, for granting me the privilege of working as a member of the Technology Compliance Team. As my internship comes to a close, I am grateful for the knowledge and experience I have gained from my boss, Wai Khin HOI. One key takeaway from him was, "The Technology Compliance Team is not just a working force, we are a family." This may seem like a simple statement, but I can see the effort put into making it a reality. When I first joined the department, I was unsure about many things, such as the procedures, how to interact with clients, and how to craft our reports and observations. I was filled with questions and uncertainty. It was during this time that I noticed how helpful and patient my team was in guiding and teaching me. Despite my numerous questions, they never once found me annoying and continued to support and educate me. This sense of belonging was further reinforced by my boss's belief that, "As a team, we will support one another's growth like a family." Like a family, there are times to be serious and times to have fun. Similarly, at RSM, we ensure to provide our best audit professionalism skills to our clients when it comes to work, and we also have enjoyable events such as sports day, in which I enthusiastically participated. The knowledge and skills I have gained from RSM are numerous, and it would take me hours to fully explain everything I have acquired and learned. Therefore, I have summarized the main key learning points. Once again, thank you for having me, RSM! 😍😘

We accept applications from anyone wanting to complete an internship in the financial services. Whether you are a student, didn't go to university, looking to make a career change, or trying to gain experience, we want to hear from you! 2. How do we answer the questions? In whichever way is best for you! They don't need to be super long, they just need to answer the questions and show us what you're about. 3. Why do you ask these questions? Good to know

I am grateful to have had the opportunity to complete an internship this summer at New Directions in the finance department. This was a great experience to understand the day to day processes and gain valuable insights into how the business is ran. I was able to shadow experienced members of the teams within the areas of accounts, payroll and credit control, and developed many new skills such as the complexities of Excel. #internship #summerinternship #finance #newdirections
