Congratulations to Senior Engineer Ryan Panikkar, one of our 2024 Thomas Crowell Influence Award recipients! This award honors Thomas Crowell, an adored member of our team whom we lost in 2020. The recipients are nominated by their peers for embodying attributes similar to Thomas. Since joining the team in 2019, Ryan has demonstrated professionalism, reliability and proactivity. Ryan is diligent and takes time to ensure everyone understands and is on the same page. His colleagues speak highly of him, noting his positive attitude and willingness to help. “Ryan goes above and beyond for every customer he works with. He can always be relied upon to provide our customers the best service. When his name is mentioned to a customer, they are filled with confidence as he always delivers." Last week, we welcomed several team members from the UK to our Grand Rapids HQ. This visit brought together 4 of our global teams in person for the first time: Talent Acquisition, Communications, Learning and Development and Human Resources. It was a pleasure to see these groups collaborate face-to-face. During their time together, they toured our Grand Rapids offices, participated in workshops and discussed goals for the rest of 2024. We're glad they could enjoy a beautiful week of Michigan summer, including a trip to the beach and adventures with their peers. Some team members joined our LGBTQIA+ Employee Resource Group (ERG) at the Grand Rapids Pride festival. Thank you to Amanda Hughes, Adam House, Ashli Tasker, Kim Randers, Natasha Laidlaw and Richard Bew for making the trip.

Morgan Temple joined our team as a Sales Development Representative (SDR) in July 2020. Although she started during the pandemic, an uncertain and challenging time, Morgan says the SDR role gave her stability and opportunities for growth. Shortly after, Morgan transitioned into her current position as Sales Development Manager. She enjoys using her 5+ years of sales experience and SDR knowledge to come alongside, provide support, encourage and foster growth opportunities for her team. Morgan's favorite part of being a leader is walking alongside her people through their personal and professional journeys! Every new employee at Service Express participates in our global onboarding experience during their first week. In addition to company onboarding, new Field Service Engineers are enrolled in our Aces Technical Academy. Aces provides hands-on training and experience with servicing equipment, replacing parts and mastering the fundamentals of our service experience. The program ensures those in service roles receive the education and training needed to succeed and deliver exceptional experiences for our customers.
