The inspiration I got from the social entrepreneurial culture in Utah has completely transformed my mindset. We focus on entrepreneurship within the contact of association, cooperative, and NGO, because I am strongly convinced that networking is a powerful tool to foster both economic and social initiatives. Sue is a passionate advocate for simplifying the path to success for small and family businesses. She’s dedicated to cutting through the bureaucratic red tape that often burdens entrepreneurs, reducing the cost of doing business in today’s complex environment. In the realm of Aboriginal entrepreneurship in Australia, Susan recognises the challenges posed by inauthentic ventures that have saturated the landscape. Limited access to generational wealth has compelled many aspiring Aboriginal entrepreneurs to seek joint venture partnerships. Unfortunately, this often leads to token arrangements, where the Aboriginal owners are excluded from day-to-day operations, serving merely as figureheads. However, a transformative and highly successful leadership transition has recently unfolded at Birubi Australia, setting a new standard for authentic Aboriginal business leadership. Sue is on a journey to simplify entrepreneurship and champion authentic Aboriginal business leadership.
