I know I’m late. Thank you MS.Dhoni (7) for instilling a strong belief in me that it requires ONLY sheer skills on what we are best at to achieve greats of international standards. You have been an inspiration in my life to a great extent beyond words. Few lessons I learnt in brief: 1. Never give up till the game of LIFE is over 2. Keep emotions outside and just deal things one at a time (ball by ball) 3. Success is just a thing and loss is a lesson 4. Take the bullets and be a leader 5. Stay calm and composed no matter what the situation is and focus on what we are good at 6. Take chances in life, it may pay off or it may not sometime, but do take chances 7. Closing the game is important at any cost, closing in our favor is what it is 8. Picking the correct soldiers / executors to achieve a goal is vital I would want to end this on my native language. Thala ! Nee adu thala ! CSK ❤️ (Translates as “Don, you be the king of the game and keep playing for our club Chennai Super Kings as always”) About MS Dhoni - https://lnkd.in/dgscRbF What have you learnt from Dhoni?

Job trends in the next 5 years:- [1] Startup salaries are going to decline: Most startups have started to realise that they need to control the profits, not just revenues. Many unicorns who were on track to their IPO had to delay their IPOs. Reason: lack of profitability. Over-hiring and over-paying is going to decline. [2] Most CEOs would have a personal brand: All smart CEOs have started to focus on their personal brands. This is evident on Linkedin as well. People like to buy from people, not from companies. Therefore, almost every 'Shark' now feature on their own advertisement. Why? personal brand. Take a cue and start cultivating your personal brand as well. [3] Parallel jobs: Gone are the days when you could depend on 1 job. Firms are not loyal to you. And, any smart employee can see through this. If you are not building backups already, you are doing yourself a disservice. And, the volatile job market is might one day hit you badly. [4] Rise of remote jobs: To cut the long story short, if work could be done from home, why would you waste your time, effort, energy travelling? Not every job fits into 'work from home' culture, but many do. Video editing, graphic designing, virtual assistants, digital marketing based jobs are going to make more money. People are going to increasingly pick these skills. [5] People would increasingly prefer to own small businesses: AirBnBs/Holiday rentals Opening digital stores Launching digital products Are all examples of small businesses. With the rise of financial & career education, most people would prefer decent money + family time (OVER) crazy money + no time. And owning small businesses is one way of fulfilling this goal. Let me know in comments what other trends you are seeing.

Startup TN. Nice to be part of a great and well organized event by StartupTN and FITEN. Kudos to organizers for getting right mix of people and sessions. Bringing state ministers to Chief minister for this event for the good of startup ecosystem. And delegates like Sridhar Vembu CEO of Zoho, Prof Sri Kamakoti, Director of IIT Madras and many others. FiTEN First time attending an in-person event as an investor. Enjoyed to most with lots of knowledge and pep talks during side networking. Met several promising Startup founders who all look well committed and dedicated with a passion to achieve. Also able to meet fellow investors and many from NRI community willing to contribute for the growth of our startup nation. Met my childhood hero, the great Indian swimmer Kutraleeswaran known for his Guinness world record and an youngest Arjuna Award winner who likes himself to be called as Kutral, a Venture Capitalist now. Look forward for their next month event for a similar one related to VC summit. Kutral Veerabadran MK Stalin Dr. Francis Somerwell, PhD Sai Ranganathan

Can Artificial Intelligence build a business from scratch? I let you be the judge: Tools used: Text - ChatGPT (of course) Visuals - MidJourney Videos - Filmforge Website - Aida Unfortunately, AI can’t raise $10M with VCs for me. Hopefully, it will be possible by the end of the year. (time invested: 15 minutes)
