Behind the curtains of a woman in business… While we see many stories shedding light between the balance of motherhood and career success, we don’t always hear about the difficulties that some women experience becoming a mom. Over the course of 4 years, I have endured the pain of 11 losses, undergoing multiple treatments and surgeries, invasive IVF cycles, countless hours of doctor/hospital visits, daily medications & needles - with offensively low insurance coverage. The journey has been extremely challenging both physically and mentally. However, in the face of adversity, I am proud to have demonstrated unwavering resilence to build my career growing beverage brands in a male dominated, competitive industry. Organizations like The Female Quotient, Moms First, The Mom Project and my partner Bridget Connelly consistently provided motivation to keep me going. Never underestimate a woman with determination. As we step into Women's History Month, I want to share my appreciation to the women-owned companies I've devoted my career to in the past 5 years. Taking a pause from hustle culture...
