🚀 Day 2 of Learning REST Assured! 🚀 Today has been incredibly productive as I dive deeper into REST Assured for API testing. Here are the key takeaways from my learning journey: 1. Extracting Data from Nested JSON: Mastered techniques to parse and retrieve data from complex nested JSON structures. This will be crucial for validating responses and ensuring data integrity. 2. Integrating TestNG:Learned how to leverage TestNG for writing and managing test cases. This integration enhances the robustness and scalability of my test suite, making it easier to handle large projects. 3. Chaining Requests: Discovered how to extract specific variables from one response and use them in subsequent requests. This capability is essential for testing API workflows and maintaining state across different API calls. I'm excited to continue building on these skills and see how they can improve my API testing efficiency. Stay tuned for more updates! #APITesting #RESTAssured #TestAutomation #LearningJourney #SoftwareTesting #TestNG ---

Selenium Learning Journey: Day #2 Selenium Components What is Selenium Core? Foundation: Selenium Core is the foundation upon which the Selenium suite was built. JavaScript-Based: It consists of a JavaScript program that directly controls the browser. Initial Concept: The idea was to embed a JavaScript program within a web browser to automate the browser’s actions. How It Works: Embedded Script: Selenium Core is a set of JavaScript functions that can be embedded into a web page. Direct Browser Control: These functions can interact with the web page elements, like clicking buttons and entering text, mimicking a user’s actions. Same-Origin Policy: Initially, it worked within the constraints of the same-origin policy, meaning it could only automate interactions within the same domain. Limitations: Same-Origin Policy: This policy limited Selenium Core's ability to test across different domains. Scalability Issues: As web applications grew more complex, the limitations of Selenium Core became apparent, leading to the development of more advanced tools like Selenium RC and WebDriver. Stay tuned for daily updates, and feel free to reach out if you have any tips or resources to share! Let’s march towards Software Automation together! #Selenium #Automation #LearningJourney #QualityAssurance #SoftwareTesting #CareerGrowth #SeleniumComponents #SeleniumCore

🚀 Day 28 of #60DaysOfSelenium 🚀 Today, we're diving into a critical aspect of Selenium automation - Structuring Your Automation Project. This topic is essential for maintaining scalable, maintainable, and organized automation code. 📌 Tips for Organizing Your Automation Project: - 1. Create Packages: Divide your project into logical packages. For example, have separate packages for test cases, page objects, utilities, and test data. This makes it easier to manage and locate your code files. - 2. Separation of Concerns: Follow the principle of separating concerns. Keep your test logic separate from your page objects. This improves code readability and maintenance. 🔍 Example: Let's say you're automating a login functionality. Your project structure might look like this: 📂 Project 📂 src 📂 main 📂 java 📂 com 📂 yourcompany 📂 pages - LoginPage.java 📂 tests - LoginTest.java 📂 utils - DriverManager.java 📂 data - UserData.java By creating clear packages and separating concerns, you'll be able to quickly locate, modify, and expand your automation code as your project grows. ✨ Pro Tip: Don't forget to use meaningful names for your packages, classes, and methods. This makes your code self-explanatory and easy to understand for your team. 🚀 Ready to elevate your Selenium skills? Keep up with #60DaysOfSelenium, and make sure to follow this hashtag to catch up on any posts you might have missed. Stay ahead in your learning journey! Let's code smarter, not harder! 💻💡 #SeleniumAutomation #JavaProgramming #AutomationTesting #CodeOrganization #LearningJourney.
