One of the most eye-opening things I’ve seen in my new role is that most successful practices have outgrown their ability to "sell to another doctor" upon retirement. Not to say they can’t, but they’d be doing so at a detriment to what their practice is worth. The beauty of Dental Care Alliance is that you’re able to benefit from what you’ve built earlier in your career, while still owning and growing your practice for years to come. #DSO #dentalpractice #dentalindustry #dentalimplants

Dental Revenue Cycle Management Specialist | DSO B2B Sales | Dental Operations | Dental Business & Clinical Consultant
Streamlining the dental revenue cycle by outsourcing the tedious #dentalbilling and administrative processes is becoming more crucial as the dental industry consolidates. If your #DSO can show that you send clean claims and collect what is outstanding, this makes your group financially attractive to new dentists and associates. Not sure about outsourcing? I’d love to hear your thoughts or concerns. https://lnkd.in/gnVwvzJN

Navigating the Fine Line: How My Operating Room Nursing Career Prepared Me for the Legal World 🏥⚖️ In the fast-paced world of operating room (OR), precision, communication, and ability to adapt and pivot are key. These skills, honed during my years as an OR Circulating Nurse, have proven invaluable in my current role as an LNC working closely with attorneys. I never knew when a routine tonsillectomy would turn into a complicated hemorrhage case or when a open & shut legal case would sprout new evidence in need of review. 🔍 In the OR, we meticulously plan every step, just like legal teams do in preparation for a case. 🗣️ Communication is paramount in both fields--from briefing a surgical team to presenting evidence in court. 💡 The ability to adapt and pivot to unexpected situations has been a game-changer for me both in surgery and in the legal arena. I'd love to hear from fellow nurses, LNC's, Attorneys & MD's: How has your health care background influenced your legal career? Please share your stories. 👩⚕️⚖️

A dentist changed my life and saved my family. Not a physician, life coach, or other expected professional. Though many states away, I refer patients to that practice to this day because the impact was life-changing. I want everyone to experience that level of care. That loyalty isn't something a marketer can teach, nor is it bought with ads or fancy tech. It's earned through value-based care, especially in today's era where there's a rising demand for integrative services. It's the essence of why I do what I do, to pay it forward and impact other dental professionals. Why? Because dentists are seen more often than physicians by healthy patients and this industry is primed to meet the demands of interdisciplinary services. Therefore I help dental practices integrate services like myofunctional therapy to enhance outcomes while positively impacting the bottom line. It's about being the change the industry needs and ensuring everyone gets that life-changing care. Your practice can be the life-changing influence that builds years of referrals and save you the 55% of new patient revenue typically spent on acquisition. Let's chat: https://lnkd.in/egafP65M

Daily insights to grow medical optometry | Optometrist | Practice Owner Follow #2020habits for content
An #optometry colleague asked me what he should do next to grow his medical practice. He just finished a billing and coding course. My response 👇 Understanding how to utilize 99 and 92 codes better is a great start to growing your medical optometry practice, but there's much more to it than that: "What Christopher Wolfe and I do at EyeCode Education is try to take B&C education, disease protocols, and medical vs. vision plan nuances to the next step by providing consulting through mastermind groups (our basic Comprehensive Optometry Simplified package) and individualized practice coaching (our Signature Comprehensive Optometry Simplified package). You can check out the basic COS here: https://lnkd.in/gf9irygw You can check out the Signature COS here: https://lnkd.in/gHccqVrv In our Comprehensive Optometry Simplified framework, we promote a process called Total Patient Care, which shows you how to "capture" patients in your practice for annual/routine care and "convert" them into medical patients and implement specific disease pillars such as glaucoma, dry eye, diabetes, AMD, myopia management, etc. Where the magic happens, and change really occurs with docs, is in the midst of the mastermind group sessions. We usually get between 3 and 15 docs in a session where we help them solve current implementation obstacles for medical eye care. Docs love it because they get to hear the issues other docs in the group are trying to solve and learn from them. We'd love to have you as part of the group and help you in any way we can in this endeavor. If you decide not to join us and tackle this alone, no problem. I would just recommend sticking to the plan I outlined in my article in RevOp Business: https://lnkd.in/gvDiFhWD Essentially: 1. Code appropriately (3s vs. 4s ~ even) for all acute care 2. Implement one disease pillar at a time and bill all of those appropriately along with aggressive diagnostic testing 3. Bill all medical patients on both annual and medical evals using medical insurance Most practices find themselves in step 1 or maybe 2 indefinitely. It takes intention, belief in the value of your training, and deliberate action to get your practice all the way to step 3." #optometrists #optometrist #eyecare #optometrystudent
