An overview of BlackRock's BUIDL money market fund on Ethereum: The BUIDL Fund is a BlackRock-managed money market fund that invests investors’ dollars into Treasury Bills to earn yield. The Ethereum blockchain is the platform on which the BUIDL fund’s LP shares are represented as ERC-20 Tokens. The Fund manager (BlackRock) is the world’s largest asset manager with $9 trillion in assets under management. The SEC Registered Transfer Agent and on-chain administrator (Securitize) is an asset tokenization platform started in 2017. Boston Consulting Group estimates blockchain-based tokenization will have become a $16-trillion market by 2030.
