"We can't answer your query by email, simply pop into your local branch for help" 👍🏻. That's what I received from HSBC today, however the words simply and local must mean different things to each of us 🤔. We all know about the relentless closure of branches, my local one has drifted to 7 miles away 😩. But we also know the excuse for closing branches is that less people use them, which leads to the simple part. Opening hours are at the hours and days most people work, so guess what, less people will visit, and then guess what, they'll have an excuse to close another branch 😡 It feels like a case of if you want to back up a business case then build your product around that case, and not around the customer 😥. #continuouslearning #banking #voiceofthecustomer #customerexpereince

Honestly, I’m going past myself with frustration. The customer support from Barclays UK is utter incompetence and neglect. Its impossible to simply speak to someone. Its also amazing that in the contact page of their website ist already says they are busy as a standard message. App not working, online banking not working and aboslutely no way to talk to anyone about it. 35 mins trying to get access or speak to someone - waiting time on a call is....yep, 25 minutes. They just dont give a monkeys sh*t about customer empathy and service. I have to say that RBS is no better, shocking here as well for business banking Time to get my lazy ass in gear and change these. Any business banking recommendations anyone? #Barclays #RBS #BusinessBanking

Axis Bank 🚨 Attention all! 🚨 I recently encountered a concerning experience with Bank's pre-approved offers, and I feel compelled to share my story. Despite maintaining a high CIBIL score, my application was inexplicably rejected, resulting in multiple inquiries that impacted my credit profile. What's more, attempts to reach their customer support team were met with silence, exacerbating the frustration. It's a perplexing conundrum: why extend pre-approved offers if the intention is to deny card issuance? This disconcerting practice not only leads to unnecessary credit inquiries but also undermines trust in the banking system. Transparency and accountability are paramount, and it's incumbent upon financial institutions to uphold these principles. Responsible lending practices and clear communication are non-negotiables in today's financial landscape. I urge others to remain vigilant when considering financial offers and to demand clarity from banks. "Just sharing my recent experience with credit card applications. With a CIBIL score of 797 and no existing cards, I received pre-approved offers from ICICI, HDFC, and Axis Bank. For those wondering, 'pre-approved' means that the bank has already done a preliminary check of your creditworthiness and offers you a credit card based on this assessment. I decided to apply to all three. ICICI Bank stood out with exemplary service – they approved my card with a generous limit of over 1 lakh within 4-5 days. They truly delivered what they promised! However, my experience with HDFC and Axis Bank was disappointing. Despite hitting my CIBIL three times, I received no card and encountered poor customer service. Axis Bank even declined my application.
