Congratulations to Senior Associate Kinjal Shah on obtaining the Chartered Business Valuator (CBV) designation, the preeminent professional designation for business valuation and damages quantification in Canada. Earning a CBV designation is a challenging multi-year endeavor that culminates with the written Membership Qualification Exam and significant practical business valuation or related experience. This is an incredible accomplishment and significant milestone, so please join us in congratulating Kinjal!

Manager Ishmael Smith, PSP, PMI-SP, PMP, presented at the 2024 AACE International Conference & Expo this week. The session was hosted by Nils Gransberg, Ph.D., and Ishmael presented alongside Anthony Springer, PSP. The talk discussed the challenges of missing logic in project schedules during construction delay assessments using contemporaneous period analysis methods. It highlighted the AACE International Recommended Practice 29R-03, which allows for schedule corrections, and presented a case study demonstrating the implementation of these methods with and without such corrections.
