It is officially hatching season on Sea Island! On July 2, the Sea Island Nature Team found the first sea turtle nest hatch on the Georgia coast. Nests take 45 – 60 days to incubate and nest 1 hatched on day 52. To see how successful the nest is, five days after the nest hatches the nature team conducts a nest inventory.
