I feel like there are two worlds of #dataengineering. Those still living in the #database world of Postgres, SQL Server, etc, working with #pandas and apis. Then there are the #bigdata folk working on #databricks #snowflake etc. One is about indexes, connections, HTTP requests etc., the other is about partitions and distributed systems. Some overlap, but then again, not so much.
