The times they are a-changin’… I’m going to miss all the brilliant folks at #shift5 and working on the very specialized mission they are dedicated to. I’m very lucky to have had the opportunity to learn as much as I did about serial bus networks in civilian vehicles, combat vehicles, and weapons systems... as well as to do my small part in helping to protect them. I look forward to toasting their many future achievements, hopefully in person! I always said it would take a lot for me to consider leaving such a bad-ass company, but life told me to “hold its beer” and proceeded to deliver on a “lot”. I now have the opportunity to product manage one of my favorite security tools. And my god has it changed since I started using it a couple of decades ago! Starting this Tuesday I’m the new product guy for the Nessus vulnerability scanning engine. I get to work with a lot of friends (both old and new) to drive the evolution of the core engine that powers Tenable’s product offerings. How cool is that? Pretty damn cool. I’m absolutely stoked.
Congrats Scott! It will be kickass to see you, Jon Warren, Tony Caraballo together plus the other rockstars at Tenable.
