In H1 I officially have been clean from opioids for 21 years. I could tell you how but you wouldn’t: - understand unless you’ve been there - believe me unless you knew my story - realize it does not mean I’m free from pain In H1 I made more than twice as much as I ever did in any w2 VP Sales role in a year, for the 5th year in a row. I could tell you how but you wouldn’t: - believe me - be willing to put in the work - be patient enough to make it easy In H1 I shanked and failed multiple times: - shutdown a revenue stream - got told an sdr can do what I do - lost deals to cheaper less experienced foes Reading something never rings as true as spending time with someone and seeing the passion and emotion in their eyes. You can impress me with your words but win me over solely through your actions. Action > Words Humility > Fame Freedom > Fortune
Be patient enough to make it easy is some line, Scott. Delighted you’re 21 years clean. No idea what it was like, but delighted all the same. Keep going sir.
Love this Scott! I’m 9 years clean. Inspiring to be reminded other people are out here doing it every day too. One day at a time. 😎🤝
Amazing post. This is exactly why you have impacted entire teams and companies. Your ability to build rock stars and entire companies from scratch, it comes from not only being a talented leader, but being fearlessly vulnerable when you need to be with your reports. Such an overlooked quality in leaders today.
"The highest sign of inner freedom is when you no longer want to change the present moment." Keep pounding young man.
Appropriate post for Independence Day. You gained your independence and continue to maintain control of it while thriving. Very inspiring. Nicely done, 🏄♂️ Scott Leese!
it's incredible how sometimes a stranger's words can touch my heart. thanks for sharing this. we can never truly know the battles someone else has fought
Being told that "an sdr can do what I do" is absolutely wild lol
Action > Words, all day every day. Scott, I love every bit of this post....but what I respect most, is the clear action you take day in and day out, brother.
Hell ya man!!! I’m at 11 years myself. Here’s to living with pain but not letting the pain hold us back! I wonder what it’s like to be pain free though haha. You’re a true inspiration my dude 🏄♂️ Scott Leese

1wCongrats buddy. I believe you 😉 Actions always speak louder than words. Life has taught me this lesson often over the years (for both positive & negative). When someone shows you who they are, take note.
