Sam Blackman’s highly personal video post should be required as part of every medical school, graduate program and business school in the world…as well as all (performative) political offices. Want to know what it’s like to really make a difference in the world? Just watch this video. Thanks very much, Sam, for posting this gem.
As many of you know, I do like to write things. And on the occasion of our recent approval, I had some thoughts. It took a while for me to get them out as last week was a whirlwind of emotion and meetings and travel and celebration. But I finally did. Instead of putting them in print, however, I decided to just say them (warning: this may exceed the MTD of Sam for most people). Finally, for everyone who sent a lovely note, thank you. I read every single one.
