My name is Sarah and I take care of Influencer Marketing at Wix. We are looking to collaborate with content creators like you, targeting XXXXXXX (target audience) . Our goal is to raise awareness to XXXXXX (product name) and the value it can bring to XXXXXXX (types of users/use cases). We are interested in doing a sponsored dedicated video/series of videos/post with you, for your XXXXX channel, showcasing/highlighting the XXXXXX offering and what can be achieved using it.  We would like to give you creative freedom as you know your followers best. Therefore, we would love you to take a look at the product (it's free to use), and suggest an outline/idea with us. We ask to review and approve your outline before you create the video, if needed we will give you feedback. If you prefer, we can also provide you with a specific brief. And of course, we ask to approve the final video before it goes live and confirm the live date with you. Influencer marketing is outdated. The old way: Pouring your budget into macro celebrity ‘star power’ to speak for your brand. → You give them a script → They deliver the pitch → You hope it works The outcome? Usually lots of views, but not enough conversions to make lighting your marketing budget on fire worth it. The new way: Seed product to micro-influencers, and use that as your creative engine for your ad account. → You seed your product to influencers (mostly micro). → They generate content if they connect with/use your product. → You repurpose hundreds/thousands of pieces of content into paid ads. The outcome of this approach? Also lots of views. Increase perceived trust (because the influencers are more targeted and resonate with your customer). And to execute this, you only need to give up your COGS as the budget. Oh, and the creative you get actually translates into ROI since you can run it in your ad account. So, why risk all your money putting your eggs in one basket? Follow a targeted seeding strategy. Repurpose authentic influencer content. Invest in a low-risk ad strategy (Cost Caps). Test as much content as possible (every asset). Scale what works, profitably. Google’s E-A-T (Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness) guidelines play a crucial role here. They help improve your rankings for non-branded queries by associating your brand with specific keywords and phrases used by influencers. This alignment not only boosts keyword rankings but also drives more qualified traffic to your site. While SEO and influencer marketing might seem like separate strategies at the initial stages of the marketing funnel, their integration can forge a powerful synergy, significantly amplifying your brand's online presence.

How an influencer should pitch to a brand in 8 simple steps: 1. Define a list of brands that are relevant for your niche/industry.  2. Search for previous sponsored influencer content by each of those brands. 3. Ask yourself - what type of influencers do they work with? Which social channels are they focused on? Which content performed best? 4. Check out the brand’s website, blog and social channels - is there anything new they may be looking to promote that could be a good fit for you?  5. Decide which brands you want to pitch to and what content angle you would take for each of them.   6. Go to Linkedin and locate the right POC per brand (search for influencer marketing / UGC / social media / Marketing) find their email address or send them a connect request so that you can then message them. 7. Send a short email/message to each of the POCs, introduce yourself, your channels (add relevant stats), add 1-3 examples of relevant content you have done (ideally sponsored, with similar or competing brands) and make sure to add an idea/content angle you suggest for a sponsored video or even series of videos. End the email with a clear call to action, such as “Let me know if this is of interest to you and I will gladly share my pricing with you” or “Happy to jump on a call to discuss further”.  8. If you do not hear back after 3 days, send a follow up email. Don’t be shy.
